did TPD ever look into doing the 6.8 or what is the status on that?

hell what is the status on the company?

Does the axr have a trunion or is it just one big billet piece CNC'd?

I read an article saying he was out of the gun making biz but was still planning on gun accessories.

I hope that means his .22 conversion kit is not still born.

The AXR definitely has a trunnion but I am not sure if it is made from a casting, forging, or billet.

He was using Steyr trunions at first, but I think some of the later guns used one of his own making.  Unsure of the method of manufacture.

I'm 99% it was a billet reciever. I recall seeing pics somewhere of the milling process. It was beautifil. Sort of a shame to finish it in black.  Could have been a one-off project, but I don't think so. I got the impression they were all billet.

The idea of the .22 kit have had me drooling for a while now. Now that they have one for the PS90, I'm questioning my decision not to buy one.

Please, somebody make an AUG compatible .22 kit!

Yup, billet receiver was Kent's thing.  Beautiful work.  The receiver is aluminum, the trunion is hardened steel.
