CDNN has the MSAR rifle at a good price it seems, but after reading some of the posts here I am wondering what generation they are. Does anyone here know what CDNN is currently selling? The add says * Forward Assit *Optional 1913 Side Rail System if that helps any. I am quite familiar with many different weapons systems, but don't know a lot about this one so treat me like a baby.

I believe the FA models were Gen 1 & 2. I like mine with FA but some prefer the new version. If they are the earlier generation STG, the optics should also be better and for the ~$100 up-charge,it would be a good choice. By the look of the advert. the optic model may not be the FA variant.
