This is an excellent forum. I have been researching bullpup rifles for some time and  I am seriously considering a MSAR. Without the opportunity to put a few boxes of ammo through one, I am trying to sort out a common concern expressed here. A good crisp trigger pull is important to me. The trigger pull, compared to an AR15 Colt HBAR how would you describe it? Is it more like a Glock trigger vs a 1911 trigger pull? How effective are fixes for the trigger.pull? Has there been any improvement in the evolution of the trigger pull in the different generations of the MSAR? Thanks.

Well I have never shot that AR you mention, but I have shot my firends AR (forgot which kind it was) along with a RRA. I own an E4 and the triggers aren't what you would consider "crisp" especially compared to the AR. The pull is longer, but managable. As far as improvements if you search the forum you will find ways to improve trigger pull along with a new device (neu-trigger) made and being offered for sale by one of the forum members. I just ordered one and am looking forward to receiving it. There are other threads with tips and suggestions-lots of good info. I love my E4 and I think you will too. Good luck with your decision...

Mav3rick,

Thanks for the information.

Being able to put your hands on a MSAR and try the trigger pull makes all the difference. I had an opportunity to do just that a a Gunshow in Asheville, NC today. After dry firing the an STG 556 about a dozen times, concerns about the trigger pull ceased to be an issue. It is not that bad, in fact it is not what I would consider bad at all. Better that an average AK. My impressions were very positive overall. Nice fit and finish, excellent balance, ergonomics and handling. I am calling Ratworks on Monday.

NP-You're welcome. Glad that you got an opportunity to check one out in person and that you have decided to get one. You won't be disappointed. I love my E4. Please keep us posted and then once you get it you have to give us all a range report and pics!
Talk to you later,
