| Since I have enjoyed comments on this board and also reading posts thats helped me with my new E4. Its just plain jane with Eotech 517 .Besides posting picuture, have not got around how to do that yet. In a private e mail Dave asked me to let him now how my first day at the range went. So from his request and figure I owe this to the board again for all the helpful info provided. First as suggested cleaned the pup and oiled. I loaded up my PMags with 55gr wolf,brown bear and tula ammo.. After finding the paper at 25yds moved target to 50yds. Being 77 and living in Fl figured my max shooting at 100yds min 25yds. 50yds gave me the range I want. Ok so much for the BS. I ran 5 mags 30rd on high setting not a hicup except bolt would not stay open . I was putting the rounds in a 6 inch circle on the target . I ran 3 more mags and bolt started staying open on last rd. I told self ,load mags with just 10 rds and see what happens.. Loaded 3 mags with 10rds and bolt stayed open and bolt release worked to close. Ran couple more 30rd mags with the ammo mixed all 3 diif makes . Never had a problem. More fun to shoot than my Sig556 and Daniels Def M-4 rifle which after finding paper put them away, back to the fun gun.........Thanks to all for taking the time to post sure helps ole farts like me.
