I have an e4 coming soon from Rat Worx.  Since I live in MA, I need to have a muzzle brake put on.  I would like suggestions as to what brake would be good.  Is the noise/blast issue with brakes made worse because the muzzle is closer with a bullpup design?  I was thinking of trying the new Troy Claymore brake for that reason.  If noise/blast is not worse with a bullpup, i was thinking about the PWS FSC 556.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my first bullpup.

PM me and I'll give you a MSAR break and a nut. They've been ground off but a little black paint and their good.

There are some decent descriptions / comparisons in this thread.  http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=493727

I was disappointed to read that the FSC break is still pretty loud with a decent amount of concussion.  It seems all effective breaks are to some degree.  The MSAR one fits into this category as well.

The Levang linear compensator is an inexpensive muzzle brake that's practical on the E4. Not only does it redirect the blast forward (and thus away from you and people standing along side of you) but it reduces muzzle rise as well. Because the blast is redirected forward there's more apparent recoil but it's not bad.
