Dave, I love my new STG 556 but replacing the extractor retention pin has become a 2 man affair. It takes all the finger strength I can muster to push down hard enough on the extractor to cause the holes to line up so the retention pin can fit.... What am I doing wrong?

I've always had to use pliers. It's tough, IMO.

After 600 rounds, it's time to give my new baby a good bath...really, not field strip and clean a weapon after several trips to the range is "child abuse"...I simply won't be part of it !
