Real nice video of the Kel Tec RFB.

The young man in the video who purchased it is a member here.  I believe he just got it a few months ago.

I need to get a break like that for mine. Looks to be very little muzzle rise at all.

I've never had the itch to sell my FN-FAL until this rifle came along.  I'm afraid that if I ever found one for sale that I'd have to get it and liquidate the FN.

 ....so confused!

Compromise. HAVE BOTH. They use the same mags.

Muzzle break definitely looks like the way to go.

ParrisIsland1978,

I can't have both (RFB and FN-FAL) and keep a family fed I'm afraid.

looks good, but my only concern would be about the ejection system.  the spent cases are kept in a tube before they eject and there can be like 3 or 4 in there at once.  my question is will the action get jammed if you try to shoot at a slighty upward angle with the spent cases in the tube failling rearward towards the ejector, which would jam it up?

here is a video that shows what im talking about.  you can see in the first 300 frame per second slow motion part right at the end you can see the spent cases piling up and going back towards the action...

It's not an issue. The ejection system works just as well as any standard system.

I read somewhere that a man tried shooting it at an upward angle and the ejector kept pushing them out with every shot. Can't remember now where I read it though. Maybe it was at KTOG forum, I can't recall.

In the first part of the video, when they slow the video down to 300fps, the last shot - do you see the rear case bounce off the invisible barrier? Looking at this video, I'd suggest they have prevented spent cases from traveling rearward - as to how - I won't know until my RFB comes in later this week. Perhaps the ejection chute is narrow/tensioned at the end near the action, and with the force of the bolt slamming forward cases are shoved forwards, but the tension is too great for them to return. Perhaps somebody with an RFB can explain the real operation?

EXACTLY!
The thin, heat treated, squared chute has tempered, narrowed, flat spring pinching fingers that prevent the spent cartridge from falling back into the action even at the most severe upward angles. I know... I own an RFB & have tried shooting the gun from a ditch into a berm & there are no issues whatsoever, even during rapid fire. I can't seem to get my carbine to malfunction...

Muzzle break definitely looks like the way to go.

The other videos of the RFB have always made it look pretty heavy in the recoil department.  The FSC30 made a very apparent reduction in recoil in this one.  I wonder what kind of blast you get with it?

I'd be curious to know, as well. I'd love a FSC30, but not if the blast makes hunting/range time impossible if there is anybody else around.

The recoil is the same as any other 7.62x51,,,,,,,It's not a 5.56

Recoil is more like a long push than a sharp kick. You will need a scope with at least 2.5" eye relief. Barrel climb is virtually non-existant & it's very easy to keep the weapon on target during rapid fire drills. Being totally ambidextrous, LEFTIES are going to LOVE this gun too.

Don't let the apparent stigma of the name Kel-Tec dissuade you from obtaining one. Some folks equate reasonably priced for low quality & in this instance, it just doesn't apply. This is a truly well thought out piece of gear & exhibits solid construction. I have yet to experience a malfunction.

This weekend I will  be shooting mine suppressed with an AAC Cyclone...

If you don't mind feeding it high quality Match Grade ammo like FED .308m 168gr BTHPs, you can obtain less than 3/4moa. With Q3130, expect 5 shot groups between 1.5" - 1.75".
