I am researching a suppressor for the STG556 and my dealer said that there is no suppressor to fit the thread on the rifle. Is any company working on this?
Thanks,
Russ

There are thread adapters sold at Ratworx for $135.00 if they have them in stock. You can then purchase a suppressor, but the STG 556 and AUGs do not suppress well because of their gas system. In other words they are still pretty loud with a suppressor.

The MSAR suppressor is custom made to deal with the gas issue and properly suppress the STG. I'm not sure if it will work on AUGs or the AXR, but most likey it will not.

I bought an AAC Flash Hider adapter from Polite Society Inc.  It came in the correct thread for the MSAR and works with the AAC M4-2000 and 762SD suppressors.  I prefer the sound of the 762SD with its greater volume.
