Just to clarify, the muzzle device is a M13x1 right hand (i.e. 'standard') threading, correct?  It is not a M13x1L (i.e. 'reverse' thread like on the AK's)?

MSAR lists the threading as M13x1, and unless it was listed as 'L' or 'reverse' I would take that to meant the standard 'righty tighty'

I believe it to be left had - someone correct me if I'm wrong, though.

I saw your response to my question on USAAUG.  I'd looked into rethreading a PWS, but decided against it.  I would like to try the adapter, but think $130 is way too pricey.  Currently looking for "Hotbarrel".  Maybe I can get one cheaper than $130!

I'll see if I can post a link to one of his threads.  he made me a copy of the yugo AK grenade launcher spigot 2 years ago, it was only $25 shipped and was parkerized- A pretty good deal if you ask me!

[ETA]  Here is his gas piston thread on Gunco.  http://www.gunco.net/forums/f202/stainless-gas-pistons-sale-2636/

If you get a quote from him maybe he can do a short run for us MSAR/AUG guys.  The other option I thought of was to have whatever flash hider bored out and a 13x1 adapter pressed in.

Confirmed via email by a member who has removed the original one- 13x1 metric LEFT.

I will look into contacting Hotbarrel and see if he may be willing to crank out a few adapters.  I also will see about contacting a few manufacturers like YHM adn Saylors Machine to see if they would have any interest in doing a short run of their flash hiders on 13x1L metric. The intent would be to re-use the jam nut your flash hider came with.
