I don't think a guy can go too wrong with a Hornaday 180gr HAP or xtp. I load those and a cast 180 tc powder coated bullets for cheaper practice. Do have a box of 155s to try some day. |

I have purchased both Zero and Everglades .40 180 gr JHP, and they look virtually identical to me. Everlgades has much better CS and shipping than Zero, so after the one order from Zero I've only bought from Everglades. |

I load the Everglades 180 JHP bullet as my sole 180gr 10mm load. I’m spending a little more per round, but I’m also spending money on Starline brass and using current price powder. I’d rather have an ammo can full of reasonable performing 10mm JHP then the same can full of FMJ or powder costed for a few cents less a round. |

My thoughts were that they are basically the same price as FMJ, or should I say were, since Everglades restocked them they no longer offer them as 2k for about 13.7 cents each. Even a crappy HP will be better than an FMJ in a pinch. |

If low flash is more important than ultimate velocity, N350 has basically zero flash. |
