I've been reading some posts on induction annealing on the net.  Has anyone used one?

I see there are some commercial units available.  Does anyone have any experience with the Fluxeon Annie?

Has anyone tried to build their own?

Thanks

It's a great idea that hasn't worked out well. Their units overheat and the process gets stopped until it cools off again. I commercial grade induction annealer that could stand up to several hours use at a time is probably beyond the price point of what an average reloader is willing to spend.

Giraud was going to modify their annealer to work with the Fluxeon Annie, but stopped after experiencing the problems I cited above. I would buy it if it could be adapted and worked for long runs. I understand 15 minutes +/- and it overloads.

I looked at Annie last week and noticed it "not available" on their site. Must be due to possible redesign coming?

Look up "AMP" annealer.. believe it is induction type. But I believe video indicated only a couple hundred or less rnds/hr and all manual handling. Not what I would consider perfect but I suppose for precision shooters, its great.
