| I used it for 168 and 178 AMAX with excellent results in my 308 gas gun. It's a real pain in the ass to work with because it won't meter properly in powder measures and attempting to do so will result in the chopping of kernels, which are problematic in their own right. Pick up a set of Lee dipper spoons for best results. |

I haven't used it in 223 because I have other powders that I really like that are temp stable (XBR and CFE).
now in 308, that is another story. I have multiple sub-moa loads using 168 and 175 SMK's. using a hornady PM, it meters ok (consistency is what really matters with the PM). it is more sensitive to changes in how fast you move the PM that a lot of other powders due to shape |
