Will the RT1200 trimmer work with the new RT1500 trim dies?

I already have 3 trim dies for the RT1200 and was looking to add a 308 trim die but can't seem to locate any of the old RT1200 dies.

I was told yes they will. Same trimmer thread, just a heavier duty motor because of all the BO manufacturing going on.

Dillon switched over to just making the 1500, so they probably call everything a 1500 die, or whatever.

Only difference is motor size. I sold 1200 and bought 1500 so I wouldn't have issues size/trimming 300BO. Like butter.

That said...

CH4D swears something has changed at some point in the blade size since their 45-70 trim die doesn't work with Dillon trimmer anymore. No idea when that change happened (or if it ever happened) since I have used same blades on both.

I'm trimming 308 on the 1500.

It's smooth.

And very fast.
