I have been doing some sub-sonic testing that, thus far, has shown some interesting data.

My most recent test pitted WSMP vs CCI 450 SRMP in some loads.

Identical charges showed the WSMP had more velocity to the tune of about 100FPS+. I really didn't expect there to be such a spread in velocity.

When I discussed it with another reloading buddy he said his last subs testing showed similar results.

Anyone else have any similar experiences?

Yes.  primers can change the FPS of a load in all rounds not just subsonics.  Check out Remington 6.5 or 7.5 primers with your loads and you will see a different FPS reading.  It has been discussed many times.

Sry, my Goofle-fu is lacking some times.

I didn't find any thing that specifically mentioned these two specific primers. So I thought I would ask.

I understand their are differences. I have experienced them in other loadings. It is just that this was more of a spread & in a different direction than anticipated.
