If you're doing this by hand, its hard to beat the RCBS 3 way trimmer.
Giraud has a trimmer/chamfer/deburr tool now.

I have a RCBS Trim Pro, I got the 3 way cutters for both 22 and 30 cal and I have never looked back! I did ad a home made adapter to hook up my cordless drill and man I can fly. Trims, chamfers and deburr all in one quick step. IMHO it is worth every penny.
I tried trimmers the work off the case shoulder( WFT, TrimIt, Giraud) and I found my fingers were exhausted trying to hold onto the cases... just didn't work for me at all.
The Trim Pro set up is quick and easy... I use it for 223/30-06/300 blackout... and I get very consistent results. No more hands cramping up on me.

Worlds Finest Trimmer - fast and easy

I dont deburr or chamfer.  Just run it my SSTL media tumbler for an hour.  Gets ride of case lube and cleans the case mouths up nicely.

I started on a Lyman manual trimmer and used my RCBS case prep center for clean up.

Then I started using a WFT for the bulk stuff. Still had to use the RCBS case prep center though.

Now I'm using Giraud Tri-Ways for the bulk stuff. I mounted mine to a motor so now it's a one-step/one-handed operation that takes very little time and effort.

I failed to mention I will be setting this up on a mill

I have adapted a Foster collet and trim with it's cutter.

it's the deburring that takes time

I use the Giraud.  I'm happy with my results.  I normally do batches of 50 which keeps my fingers from getting tired.

Deprime and resize 50, then trim and set aside for priming.  Start depriming and resizing the next 50, etc.

It's my understanding that Forster makes a 3 way trimmer.

3 way = Trim, debur inside, debur outside. All at the same time. The RCBS one I have works well.

Get one of those.

I used a Lyman universal for .308, and the lee case trimmer for 223, because I can stick it in a drill. I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a Giraud, so I go a different route. The lyman has worked perfectly for me. If I get another trimmer, it will be a Worlds Best.

Trimming:  for high volume cartridges (.223, .30-06, 6.8 SPC) I use the Little Crow units.  For everything else, the LE Wilson hand trimmer.  The latter is slower but more precise.

Deburring inside and out:  I use the Lyman tools chucked in the same drill motor used for the Little Crow, which is mounted on a homemade fixture to hold it down on my work bench.  Fast and smooth.  I shoot mostly flat based bullets so chamfering the inside of case mouths is important.  In modern sporting rifle chambers, the inside diameter in the neck is quite tight, so chamfering the outside of case mouths is also important to allow for a smooth release of the bullet. - CW

I use my Trim-IT and just run the trimmed brass through my wet tumbler which does a superb job of softening the trimmed edge.

I don't normally have to trim brass, I use a RCBS X-Die.

Whenever I do get new brass, I use a Foster trimmer and a Hornady deburr tool.
