A friend brought by his new laptop, and I noticed a QuickLoad shortcut on his desktop.  Fooled a bit with it, plugging in loads for 5.56.
Was impressive with the powders and bullets available.

But noticed my favorite, Xtreme bullets, not listed.  Was kicking around the thought of a purchase, but not if it doesn't support my pistol bullets.

Talk me out of this purchase!

I'm pretty sure I'll order this after seeing some of the uses on other sites...

Any opinions of this program, positive and/or negative?

Thanks!

I have it and it's the bees knees. Great estimator but not substitute for published load data.

I use  Xtreme plated bullets with it. Just add them. Measure them up properly.

The Gold dot, and most Speer/CCI bullets are ELECTROPLATED (they prefer to hide the fact by using the term "TMJ" or total metal jacket.

Speer and Extreme have about the thickest plating out there.

Federal's "Fusion" bullets and ammo are also electroplated.  The electroplated FUSION rifle bullets are good up to and over 3000 FPS.

All copper plated bullets are 'electroplated' because that's how the process works to deposit a gilding (plating) metal, in this case copper, on a base metal, lead.

I use the Rainier file for plated pistol bullets.
