I have the Lee 308 winchester 3 die set but I am having an issue.
I got a bunch of once fired brass but some of it refuses to be resized to fit my Sheridan guage.    No matter how many times I run it through.  Even if camfered.

Fairly common, some of your cases were probably fired in an oversized chamber.

One of the few uses for a small base die.

But if your lucky it could be a burr on the extractor grove.

Insert case backwards into the case gauge to smooth out a burr, large burr you will need a file. 223 case in a Dillon gauge shown.

It seems like the body of the case (about 1/8") up from the rim is too large.  If I push hard it'll go on but not freely

Fired in an oversized chamber. Throw these cases in a bucket and load the rest.
