Found it, but have not made it, yet.
How to make an ultra sonic cleaner. Diy ultra sonic cleaner
|
| Neat idea, but a purchased unit may be better. The parts for this are near $400, the Hornady large unit is $424. The transducers must have enough power to propagate the waves through the tank in all dimensions, most commercial units are designed to minimize the areas where there is less power. In a round pot you may not have issues with coverage but the height of the water will also become a factor. I like to build stuff so this is appealing, but it is one of those DIY things that seems like time and effort along with cost of materials would not beneficial. If you build one I'd like to see how well it works, I want one for cleaning small parts etc. |
