Do any of you guys feel the need to use small base sizing dies?  Pro's or Con's?  Thanks

Not really, but have run across a couple of sizing dies that I did have to take .010" off the entrance face of the sizer so it would size the brass correctly for some rifles.

Truth is, most of the time the problem is that the sizer is not set to kiss the shell holder under sizing  ramming tension instead.   The op will set up the depth of the sizer by just free handing the ram up to kiss the shell holder, and when the press is actually sizing a shell, it ends with a .020" or better gap between the bottom of the sizer to shell holder that does not fully size the case instead.

only use if the rifle you are reloading for needs it. It works the brass harder and there is no reason to do so unless you have a really tight chamber.

I like them.  I use them for 223. Brass is plentiful and free at the range.   Go for it and don't worry about overworking brass.  I do load for  3 different uppers though
