| Just got 8lb of this and 3k CCI #41 primers and 3k 55g FMJ in the mail yesterday. With proper load workups, what does arfcom think I can expect? Does anyone use this powder? |

LT 32 , ( IMHO ) is an excellent powder.... your groups , given the bullets and primers, will probably depend on the quality of your bullet.
Most generic 55gr bullets are really not match quality. If you haven't yet...you should consider a higher quality bullet... a match bullet or even a ballistic tipped bullet if you are looking for accuracy. At the very least the 55gr FMJ bullets should be Hornady brand. If you could please give some details on the rifle... twist rate, barrel length, free floated ?, OEM or after market trigger ? Chambered in 5.56 or .223 ? |

we should close this thread Not for that reason, its because its one of the only powders thats readily available that you can use for a popular cartridge. |

Don't use it in the 556 but in the 20 practical and a few others it is the most accurate powder i have tested. very consistent and very low es and sd.
I think it is best with light for caliber bullets. have been trying it in my new 270 ar with 85 and 110 and it dosen't work so good in it. but 6.5 pcc, 20 practical it works great. sure it will work just fine, go to accurates #5 load manual and there is data for it with the 556. |

Isn't it pretty close to H322 or AA2200? I know it's done pretty well in 6.8SPC, so that means it would work well for lighter weight 223 loads (55 grain and less)..... -ZA IIRC, and I probably do not, it is closer to 2520......off to google nope listen to this guy, not me they put it even faster than 2200.
