It just occurred to me that Amazon offers free shipping on orders of $35 or more.

Something I might consider when it's time to buy some more reloading equipment. Some of these other places simply kill you on shipping.

Just get amazon prime, most of the stuff you can get free two day shipping and/or $4 next day shipping. Plus, there is no $35 minimum!

If you have access to a school email address you can get the student version of prime for $39 or something like that.. Well worth it IMHO.

Yes, I order reloading stuff from Amazon all the time. Most of the time it's through the distributors anyways, but you get free 2 day shipping and it's cheaper! Hornady has an account through amazon so I get a lot of stuff from there.

I am a Prime member so Amazon is the first place I check for everything $3.99 next day air or free 2 day and many times next day Saturday delivery.

I had a 75lb. ATV jack shipped next day for shits and giggles.

UPS stops at my house almost daily due to Amazon, the only thing I buy locally is food.

I have a prime account and buy a few reloading/shooting related things from them on occasion.  I have a new Hornady 9th edition reloading manual due here today as a matter of fact.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Amazon. I have Prime also and it paid for itself when I ordered a set of BFG's for my truck. Between saving on the tires, and not having to pay shipping I saved about $275+ after the tires were installed.

Like pop, if I really really need to have it right away the $3.99 bump for next day is nice, and yep they deliver on Saturday.

Usually a great first stop for dies. Bought my hand press from amazon as well. Prime makes it very nice.

Good to go.

The last things I ordered I took the time to compare total price including shipping from Midway to Amazon. Amazon was 3 dollars cheaper, it was delivered quicker and I received 3X the points on my Amazon credit card.

I bought my Lee Classic Cast from them as it was the cheapest place around after the price increase in January.

Amazons CEO donates money to anti gun measures and yet his website sells firearms accessories.   For some reason this doesn't sit well with me.

Plus since I am in Washington, I have to pay tax to use Amazon which means I can find it cheaper somewhere else.  I was also not happy when Amazon supported a Local gun buyback program by handing out amazon gift cards for guns.

Now I will climb off my soapbox and say you shouldn't have any problems using Amazon.

I forgot that I'd still have to pay state sales tax of 8% as Amazon has a facility in Lexington. Still beats Midway's rapetastic shipping.

They also have a specific program just for hiring vets, something I think is very admirable.

You to huh! UPS guy knows me on a personal level. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at my door if things got bad.

The $79 Amazon Prime is the most expensive thing I have ever bought......a lot of items go from "save for later" to "Check Out Now" due to the free shipping. :) "Ah, the shipping is free and I can have it before the weekend, so might as well....."

Can any of you users explain to me the deal is with "offers"? I never chose it because I'm the careful type.
I'm getting more into it, though.

Wow, didn't know that. Thanks!

TLDR, you can donate 0.5% of your smile purchases to the NRA! It doesn't cost you anything.
