How do these hold up shooting in glock factory barrels. They say not to use lead bullets, Are plated OK to use. I know that there are people that do load and shoot lead with no problem out of Glock factory barrels. I'm just curious about the plated bullets never used them before and they are price pretty good. I want to use them for range shooting

I've loaded and shot thousands of Berry's plated (and other brands) through my Glocks with zero problems.

Both my Glocks love them. I made the switch from FMJs to plated a while ago and have yet to look back.

Yup, this.

I prefer Jake from RMR. Have another 1k of 124gr in the mail now actually. I reload for my Gen3 17 and Gen4 19. Do it OP. Youre good to go.

I guess I'm the only one that's had problems.  My Glock M31 only likes Ranier plated bullets.  The Berry's bullets are tumbling (hitting the target sideways) even at 7 or steps from it.  Oh, that's with a Wolf barrel.  The factory Glock barrel wouldn't shoot either brand.

Not much different, by S&W M&P .357 SIG won't shoot either brand of plated bullets.

Both shoot fine in my XDM 9MMs and my S&W M&P 9MM.

I could try downloading them to 9MM, or slower, velocities to see if they shot better, but then it why would I need a .357 SIG?  I'll keep ordering the Raniers plated bullets for my 9MM, in fact, just ordred 500 of the 147 grain HPs for my M&P 9MM.  It really shoots them well.

What are you pushing them FPS wise?

I shoot plated Rainier's from my Glock.  They work alright. No leading issues as of yet. Can't seem to get the kind of accuracy I would like with them, but they are alright.

Yes I agree completely about RMR.  Gave them a couple of small trial runs and everything was perfect.  Getting ready for a large order.

I was under the impression that these were engineered specifically for glocks.   I have shot a ton of plated bullets out of them.  Never thought twice about it.
