I've searched and googled but really kind of can't find good data on this powder. I was looking to load SS109 with a ball powder to speed things up. I read it's the new powder for the military as an H335 replacement, but the burn rate is closer to 748 than H335. Not many positives with the SS109 748 combo, but many seem to like the H335, so it seems like it wouldn't work as well. Anyone loading this with SS109 pills care to chime in.
I should add I have a hard time with military loads as even if I could copy it, I couldn't crimp the primer. |

I also use CFE223. In addition to what Dryflash said Hornady 9th had CFE223 data. Ive used SS109s with CFE and results were just as good as any as I would expect with that particular bullet. Using Hogden data + Hornady 9th, work up your own,and find whats best for your rifle.

Quoted: It "leaks" out my measures While I cant say say "it leaks". I can say it "hops" out of the case when loading on my press when switching stations. Press is a Hornady LNL AP Progressive. I have to place my finger over the case after powder drops in the case. But it does drop consistent and like proverbial "water". |
