Does anyone have a pet load for TAC powder in 223 with LC brass, Rem 7.5 primer and 69 or 77 gr bullets?  The load manual starts at 21.9 and tops out at 24.3 with a 69 grain pill.  21.1 to 23.4 with a 77 grain.   Just trying to save time with load development. Thanks in advance for your input.

23.0 with the 77 should shoot good, 23.6 if you want more speed, but stick with whichever shoots the tighter group.
23.6 to 24.2 with the 69, what rifle-barrel ?

Many HP shooters have used 24 with the 75 and 77. Work up if you try it. It's temp sensitive.

I think you have said its temp sensitive before, I have no reason to agree with you on that from my experience with it. Also I have read reports that agree with me.

Great. Post your data. The wider the temp difference, the better.

After reviewing tons of data from the NM forum, it would appear that TAC isn't as temp sensitive as I thought. I've used a fair amount of TAC, and I like it a lot. Currently, I'm using XBR because I have the best zeros for it.

24.3 grs in LC brass, Federal 205s, and 77 gr Noslers.

Fast and accurate.

Ramshot's Manual v4.5 states the max load for Sierra's 69grn bullet is 25.4grns of TAC for, "Bolt Action Rifles and Semi Auto Weapons rated for the latest NATO/MIL ammunition."   (Read, for 5.56 chambered ARs.)  I've found that 25.1grns of TAC with 68grn Hornady bullets and 7½ primers is an accurate combo in both my RRA Wylde chambered A4 and my son's Savage bolt gun for ranges out to 500yds.

24.7gr with Nosler 77gr gives 2710 m/v out of my 18in AR with remington 7.5 primers, LC brass. Its my Home defense load.

This is within load data Ramshot lists for 5.56. Work up your own load.
