Need to get a deburring tool(s) to handle 223, 7mm-08, 7mm rem mag. Are the flash holes the same size on these three case sizes? So far, I like the Redding tool the best. Anyother suggestions?
THANKS!!! |
| Honestly, unless you are going for all out accuracy in a rig built for accuracy, I wouldn't waste my time. I have tried it and the results aren't really noticeable in an average rifle unless you have some really bad brass. A drill bit can fix any really bad burrs you might encounter. |
| I just use the RCBS one size fits all flash hole tool. Like stated deburing flash holes means very little, the only real reason I keep using mine is that I put it on the RCBS case mate prep center and after I deburr the case mouths and clean the primer pocket I stick the case on the flash hole tool to make sure the flash hole is clear of tumbling media from the case lube cleaning tumble. |
| I use the Lyman tool except I unscrew it from the handle and screw it to my Hornaday trio. It has 8/32 threads like a brass brush or any rifle rod tool and the trio accepts those. It makes short work out of removing the pocket hole cratering and I just except it as part of my routine on the first reloading. |
