So I started to use my Rock Chucker press just for depriming duty and my CO-AX for reloading. Clean up is much simpler, even with the co-ax primer catcher you still got that black soot all over the place.
Also when I start using the dies I take them apart and actually apply the lube/wax on the inside of the die to make lubing cases simpler than once maybe ever 20 or 30 cases depending on the size I lube up another case with a generous amount of lube and keep going saves me time.

How do you guys prep and lube your brass?

I use a Lee Breech Lock Hand Press to deprime and then I proceed to use a Thumler's Tumbler Model B to clean the brass prior to resizing. For rifle brass, I then use a RCBS case lube pad and RCBS case lube and roll the brass on the case lube pad prior to sizing.

I have an extra head with only a Lee universal deprimer die on mine for my Dillon 550b.  I just deprime and revolve the turret until they drop into the bucket.

I'm running the BIG BOSS 2 which shoots the primers straight downward.  I run the tube into a container on a shelf under the press.

It's cleaner than the old LNL Single I used to run... but you still get a little filth.

CO-AX has pretty much identical set up, plus sliding jaws instead of shell holders hence me keeping the dirt and soot away, no matter what that black soot crap finds its way into the dies.

What I'll do to minimize press filth is decap as mentioned... then SS media tumble.  I'll clean up the press after decapping, and from there on it's a fairly sterile process.

For rifle cases I deprime on a Lee hand press with a Lee Universal depriming die, then tumble with SS media.  That's all I use that particular press for, the die stays in it all the time and I just switch out shellholders.

For pistol I don't bother depriming before tumbling.  I just deprime while resizing.

The reason I decap pistol before anything else is that SS media pins and/or Dry media get down in the flash hole and puke out on the press.

That's the beauty of decapping first for me.  No more walnut bits all over the place when I punch the primers.

I use a Pacific Classic Deluxe with a universal deprimer.

I use my first press, a Lee turrent and a lee universal decap die for decapping fired brass.  It is set up in the garage near the tumbler.  The 650 and LNL single stage are used for loading and are set up in the third bedroom/office.

Sometimes I use my CO-AX with a universal deprimer die. Some times I use my Harvey Deprimer I Like the Harvey Deprimer because I can sit and watch TV while depriming.
