New to this caliber weapon and want to try some reloading.Can the hive make me some suggestions or perhaps share their favorite loads.

Thanks It always helps if you provide us with all the pertinent info in the initial post. What weapon? What twist? What range will you mostly be shooting it at? Will you be hunting with it? Are you interested in hunting loads, or long range target loads? Brass: Lapua and/or Norma. RUAG would be another top tier brand. Primers: I like FGMM 215Ms, but I've used 215s and Winchest LRP Magnums. Powders: H-1000, H-4831sc, H-Retumbo, VV-165, VV-170, VV-N560, VV-N570, H-US869, AA Magpro, Alliant RL-25 and RL-33. Bullets: Target: I shoot the 250s...Bergers, SMKs and Lapua Scenars/LockBase. The 300s would be the same brands. Bullets: Hunting: Nosler Accubonds, Partition and Ballistic Tips, Hornady SSTs and Interlocks, Sierra GameKings, Berger Hunting/Target bullets, Speer makes some good ones, etc. Chris |
