I have had this thing for 12+/- years and it has served me well, until tonite.
I have been focusing on rifle rounds since pulling my equipment out of storage and have been using an RCBS RC, but tonite I decided to try some pistol rounds.
From experience, I know the primer feed system sucks on the P1k, so generally I run the rounds thru the machine twice, in part to simply the machine's shortcomings and because now I will be running the LFC die in the last station after bullet seating and powder drop. I hand prime all my rounds.

Alright, enough background, here is my problems:
I am using a universal deprime die in the 1st station. Although, I have the punch adjusted fairly low, it is not punching the primer out all the way(causing a bind when ejecting the case from the last station).
After the case feeder pushes the case into station 1, somewhere between the bottom and top of the stroke where the case enters the deprime die, the case head kicks out to the front a little. Basically, this gets the flash hole out of alignment and I broke 2 pins.

I cleaned and oiled it, but its just not getting this kink out. Is this a shellplate issue, something else machine oriented, or just a stupid out of practice operator?

I don't have a Pro 1000, but you have to fix the primer not being fully punched out first.

Lower the decapper until it punches out the primer completely.

I am using a RCBS heavy duty decap die. It is adjusted almost as low as it will go. The die nearly touches the shellplate and the pin head is right at flush with the bottom of the die. There has to be nearly 1/2" of pin going into the case head.

Put the shell plate all the way to the top of the stroke, and then set the decapping die all the way in until it touches the shell plate. Then adjust the punch so you get clean depriming.
Did you adjust the shell plate timing? Mine was kicking a smidge to the side at first with my .40 plate, had to play with the timing screw to get it perfect.
