Can anyone suggest a good reloading book that has recipes for .223 with CFE223

I've got 55GR Hornady SP's to load with CFE 223.

I don't have any local places that sell reloading books so I was hoping someone could suggest one (they might have) so I don't just purchase every book out there.

Thanks!

Go to Hodgdon's site, use data for a 55 gr bullet.

Begin with start load and work up watching for pressure signs.

Go there for data, but better off waiting for an actual manual. Buy one online and read it twice before loading any rounds.

Thanks,

I saw their loads. I was wondering if there was any books out there. I could use more data, since i'm getting back into reloading after a few years off. I traded in the ancient tools for some new stuff. What a difference! The last time I was reloading was with componants left to me from the 80's.

I saw the new Hornady reloading guide (9th?) has anyone looked through it? they claim to have a lot of CFE 223 recipes (but i'm not sure how many)?

Also, as anyone used loaddata . com?  Seems interested to me, but i'm not sure if it's 100% trusted. I tend to only trust printed books. I like my face and hands :)

Hornady's 9th does have good amount of .223 Rem  /  .223 Service Rifle 68, 75 Match and Amax and 80 Amax  /  5.56  CFE223 Data.  I'd recommend it.

Page 152 Hornady 9 has 55 gr CFE 223 data. Someone posted a screen shot of that page earlier today. Thread about 55 gr Vmax data IIRC.

Under $10, get a copy of Hodgdon's annual manual, has plenty of CFE 223 loads.

Never use data from the internet without confirming with published data.

That goes with loads I may post also. Trust but verify.

CFE 223 is a great powder.
