Sorry guys meant to post this in the reloading bench thread, but I guess I'll use it to show my upgrades as I go along.
Got the 650 mounted but I'm still waiting on the Eno's as it should come upgrades, case feeder , tumbler. But it's ready to rock! I have the dies all set and with in spec, powder drop is set to drop 5.0 grains of Bullseye behind a nosler 45 auto 230 gn bullets and CCI LPP into some federal brass. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h255/ss62vert/3B49879F-52F3-441A-870C-AA5A9517DAEB-1019-0000010564A3D2D5.jpg http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h255/ss62vert/6AB61F05-42B3-40C3-B9DF-0905848724AE-1019-000001055D060F4D.jpg |

Congratulations!!! Every time you take a breath, you'll be re-filling the primer hopper. Figure out where you're going to store all that ammo.
The 650 is sensitive to vibration. Your bench may work, but it has to be solidly mounted to the wall and floor to keep the vibration to a minimum. Also, the press is way too low. A strong mount will help. I recommend the 550/650 mount as it is an inch higher than the dedicated 650 mount. A bullet tray should not be an option on Dillon machines in my opinion. You want your eyes to focus on the shell plate, not down at the table, looking for the next bullet to pick up. Good luck with your new press. They are amazing machines. |
