Hi all, I'm trying to purchase some bullets from Powder Valley. Am I still required to send in photo ID, or that's just for powder, and primer purchases? I was going to ask them directly, but with the back log they have now, I doubt they'll be able to get back to me on time.
Thanks, GlockMonk |

I can't say for sure if it will be required, my first purchase from them was primers. I had to provide ID. Then I just placed an order for bullets, and did not have to provide ID, but they already have it..
With the backlog they have for processing/shipping, you have some time. If you send an email to them, they will respond within a couple days. As kthem if you need to. I was able to just take a photo of my ID with my cell phone and email it to them. |
| I've ordered powder and primers numerous times from them and have never given any ID. However, someone 21 years of age or older with a valid, state issued photo I'd needs to be present to sign for those items upon delivery. I don't see why you'd need id for just bullets. By the way, I love powder valley! |

I had to provide a FOID and DL to order Nosler projectiles from Midsouth. ![]() You've got to be kidding me! I would've gotten from a different place. If nobody else has them, then I would wait. In fact, I'm waiting on my backordered bullets from Zero. The lady said, "it would be sometime late this year"

Might depend on your state. I just got powder delivered this week from both PV and MidSouth. Had to be there to sign for it. The only place I think I have sent a DL to is AIM. Maybe Wideners, I can't remember. I think it more depends on locale.. I live in a way small town of 18,000 people, at the end of a cul de sac. My porch is a pretty safe bet, and it's covered, so it's not like they set boxes in the snow. |

I've not bought any primers or powder from Wideners, but I have ordered ammo, and never needed ID. As far as Powder Valley IDK, not ordered from them. |

GlockMonk I was just happy to be able to order a few at that time. Looking for 62 gr to try out. I think they were trying to play it safe with the myriad of stupid laws in this country they have to tip toe around. |
