i have magnum primers( because you cant find anything else around here)  bullseye powder and rainer 200gr plated lead round nose

thanks but i was talking about people who may have shot this load .. my concern is the magnum primer and no one has data on that that i have found

This applies to all calipers;



When you change components, begin loading at the start load and work up watching for pressure signs.




So find a similar load with a standard primer and go from there.




Start load is the lowest powder charge shown in the data.

I use Rainier as well. Haven't used Bullseye with the 200gr RN. Remember to reduce jacketed loads by 10% of the charge. Ex: it says to use 6.0 grains for 850 ft/sec. use 5.4 grains.

When I started loading .45 ACP, I burnt through 1000 thirty plus year old magnum large pistol primers. They were given to me and darned if I wasn't going to use them. They worked fine. Start low and work your way up.
