Both my books show two sets of load data for the .45C. One for older vintage SAs and another for newer type SAs such as the Ruger Blackhawk and T/C. I am wanting to load up some .45C for a Ruger Vaquero and I am wondering if the Vaquero falls in with the Blackhawks.  Load datas are much hotter for these and I want to be sure before I proceed.

My Hornady book shows loads for the Revolvers (Blackhawk) and another load for the Ruger and T/C and Rifle

I loaded some 240gr XTP's for rifle that were pushed by 24.4gr of IMR 4227 that shot nice

And the revolver loads were 250gr XTP's  pushed by 7.0gr of Unique, shot in both old and new colts, all loads were accurate and good shooters

Not sure if any of what I said helped

Ok.... I was unaware that there was a "new" model Vequero. Makes more sense now.  Ive had mine for about 15 years so I went to the Ruger site and did a search and mine is the old model Vequero. The big one.  So I should be GTG on the hotter loads.  Thanks.
