The collet comes out. The michining of the inside of those is super rough. I popped my collet out of one and sanded the inside of the die to smooth it out. Use the Right Tool: Insert a short length of 1/2 inch hardwood dowel into the bottom of the die. Drive the Collet Out: Gently tap the dowel with a metal hammer to drive the collet straight down and out of the die body. Clean and Reassemble: Once removed, clean the collet and die body thoroughly. Apply a small amount of axle grease to the collet's head. Use the press and shell holder to push the collet back into the die body until it snaps into place. This process is necessary for cleaning, maintenance, or when the collet has become collapsed and is causing sticking issues. I will try doing this today and see if it fixes the die |

Using a wooden dowel it popped right out. It seems the legs or leafs are stuck together for good. Was hoping they would loosen when it came out. I am going to call Lee to see if they will send me a replacement l viess Here are some pictures

After spreading out the leafs l lightly greased the die body and using the press l pushed it back into the die. I adjusted it in per DF's steps and the leafs are now moving in and out. I also went back to my Lyman flare die and readjusted it so the case mouths are flared just enough for both projectiles to fit in. I may have been slightly over flaring. I made 2 new dummy rounds and they now fit nicely in both gauges.
