What is the best way to clean out the powder measure? I think it has some flakes from gun powder in it still and I know that mixing gun powder is bad. Just wondering the best way to make sure I'm starting fresh.

Google yielded nothing for me.

I doubt you will have to get this in-depth, but here is a used and abused PM that dryflash brought back from the dead

For your purposes I'm sure a simple disassembly and wipe down with a clean, dry cloth will work fine.

If powder is sticking to the inside of the hopper, you have a static problem.

A wipe down with a new dryer sheet gets rid of the static.

May have to repeat several times if static is bad.

Ok. I got most of it out last night in the little time I had. I was going to disassemble the rest tonight or tomorrow to finish cleaning it out. They were little flakes (I've never seen gun powder before so forgive me) stuck to the side mostly. I want to make sure I get it all out though.
