Anyone used both CFE and TAC with 55gr. bullets in .223/5.56 ?
Any big differences in accuracy or any other notable differences plus or minus? Thanks |

I use Tac with 55 and 62 gr FMJBT's a great match. CFE-223 I use with match bullet precession loads. Either will work well and both are ball powders that measure great. Use the one you can find the cheapest is my advice. For me cost is about the same. other than the approx. plus 2gr. difference For CFE over TAC. Would fill the case better, maybe better maybe not I don't know? Would you give in your experience the edge to CFE for accuracy with the 55gr. pills? All I have are Hornady FMJBT at this time. Thanks |

Thanks I have never used CFE 223 with FMJ bullets, I use it for match bullets. FMJ's get what ever I have the most of (powder scores). If no score, I use Tac. |
