Case and insert the bullet i can hear the bullet.compacting.the powder. Is this ok? I have triplechecked on the lee safety scale. I am loading to 2.810 inches. And just to make sure... when i measure the oal i INCLUDE! the ballistic tip correct?

Compressed powder charges aren't usually an issue as long as they are within the safe amount the manual states. I've used a different powder with 180 grain bullets that ends up compressing the powder.
Be sure you have good neck tension (case mouth/neck holds the bullet) as I've seen the bullet start to push back up out of the neck after seating and compressing the powder. |

You are using what is called a compressed load (and should be reflected in your loading manual).
Using a "Drop tube" will help settle the powder so you are crushing fewer or less powder granules. Yes, the tip of the Ballistic Tip is included in cartridge overall length.

According to Nosler 6, page 373, 308, 180 gr BT, IMR-4895 data, 41.5 is the max listed charge. I hope you are working up from the start load of 37.5 grs, and not starting .5 gr from the max. To answer your question, compressed loads are fine if you got the data from a manual and worked up to it. Good luck
