I by mistake bought small pistol magnum primers. My question is can they be used to load 9mm instead of the small pistol primers.

Sure, I'd just start low and work up.

Don't attempt to use them in an already established load

Yes, might need to adjust load slightly at worst, but load'em and shoot'em .. I been known to use small rifle primers in 38 Super loads for 1911
