| Does extra room for the powder in the case degrade accuracy? |

Quoted:
Too many it depends to give a straight answer. What cartridge, powder, bullet, and firearm? Generally it's best to have an almost case full of powder, but there are a lot of exceptions. 300 win mag. Case being loaded to spec from spear loading 13th edition. Seems like Re15 only fills like 75% of case leaving room for the powder to move a good bit. |

Reason why the case isn't full is that Re-15 is a "fast" burning powder when used in 300 Win Mag. In 223, Re-15 is a "slow" burning powder and normally compressed. Case size is different between these two. Try some IMR-4831 or H-4831 as both of these are slower burning and will give better case fill. |

There are light .38 Special loads that should not be used in a .357 case. |
