does anyone know where to get frangible bullets for reloading mainly .224 and .308 i bought some factory ammo today i think its fedral 5.56 frangible ammo

stay away from it. it keyholes something fierce, even the facotry frangibles keyhole, i got about 18moa out of um. they are only 50gr but almost twice as long so they take up more room in the case so you kind of have to wind the load data. i reloaded some and it was just as bad as the factory stuff.

Are you looking for any frangibles in particular? Whether the bullet will stabilize is dependent on the muzzle velocity you push it to, and the twist rate of your barrel. Contrary to popular belief, there are indeed rangible projectiles out there that will work just fine in an AR. What's your barrel length and twist rate?

if i want to shoot my arand shoot 223 at the local indoor range that is what i have to shoot i would love to not spend a dollar a round

one is 11.5 and the other is 16 i think they are eather 1in7 or 1in9
