Sorry for the ultra noob question but how long should it be exactly?

Case length specs: 1.750" min - 1.760" max. It can be shorter than 1.750", but make sure you have enough neck length to hold the bullet. Each chamber has it's own sweet spot for case length, so you can experiment to get the best results.
Sounds like you need a reloading manual. Get one, read it. |
