Hello was wondering if someone would look over my list for 223/556 and tell me if I'm missing or something needs upgraded.  This will be for a Dillon 550, some things are not must but rather convenient, thanks.

Dillon conversion for 223/556 for 550
Dillon quick change
Dillon toolhead
Forster 223 FL seater & micrometer ultra seater set
Lee universal decapping die
Hornady OAL gauge
Hornady Comparator set
Hornady modified 223 modified case

Just a quick glance at your list...You may already have these, but just in case.

You will need a case trimmer

Chamber and deburring tool

Calipers to measure case length and all sorts of other things

Something to remove the crimp from the primer pocket

Scale for weighing charges

Case gauge is really nice to have, but not absolutely necessary, the Dillon stainless steel case gauge is a good one

You don't mention how you intend to use your rifle/carbine, if you aren't shooting high power rifle (1,000 yds) competition you don't need the Forster micrometer bullet seating, any standard bullet seating die will work just fine for 99.999% of reloaders.

I forgot to mention that I got 550 already and load 9mm and haver the calipers, scale , crimp remover (Hornady).  I do need a case gauge, thanks for bringing that up.  Trimmer will be a Giraud i guess, might as well pony up.  Also will be for a SBR and a SPR, thats the reason for the Micrometer seater, would like the convience of of the micrometer.  Basically looking to see if I'm missing anything for reloading 223/556.
