Ok... I drank the cool-aide and bought a Thumlers Tumler. (From E-bay)

I will NEVER go back to corn or walnut!  Bottom to top... 2 cases - 45 range brass; 2 cases - Corn polished after using a sonic cleaner; 2 cases in Thumlers for two (2) hours with dawn and Lemishine.
Even my wife immediately saw the difference.  The outside of the corn cleaned case looks pretty good.  However, the inside of the case still has tons of crap.  Thumber cleaned case is clean outside AND inside.

I guess I have to recommend this product. (Get a Frankfort Separator too. It really helps!)

Lots of people seem to be adopting this method... And building their own tumblers.
I built one because the thumber is just too small...

I'm with you 100% on the not going back to walnut !

The inside cleaning is from the ultrasonic, you can easily match or beat the outside polish using a vibratory case cleaner, vibratory are a lot faster than rotaries, that's why the vibratory cleaners took over the cleaning market from rotaries in the 70's when they came out.

Hey Wingman... Not sure what you mean.  The middle two case were ran through a sonic cleaner (twice) and then through cord vibration for about 4 hours. -   They are no way close to being as clean as the tumbling machine.  The soap, lemishine and those little metal pieces really take the crap off.  It did it in 2 hours.  I haven't seen anything like it.

Of course, you could just be a heck of a lot better and more patient that I am.
