What FMJs are you all using for bulk plinking out of any and all .30 cal rifles. I'm currently using Hornady 150g FMJs to plink with out of my browning .30-06. I know midway has them for $20 for 50ct. I'm content with that price, just wondering if i'm missing some better deals. I doubt I'd buy more than 500 at a time so serious bulk purchases would be out of the question as well.

I'm down to my last 1000 pull downs. I won't say what I payed for them 10 years ago since I don't want the young'uns to cry.

I will be crying when I buy more at the current prices.

Try Winders Reloading - IMO, good general shooting at (more or less) reasonable prices for bulk.  Good people (so far for me) to deal with ....
I also check gibrass from time to time.

Wow didn't realize how expensive things have gotten.  Lets just say I'm still shooting MatchKings that cost me less than what they're selling fodder for these days.

For plinking I use pulls.  For deep-stash ammo I generally use new Lake City or similar mil-spec ball.

I have bought their bullets for years.

Wideners is also a good place to look.

High Tech is a 20 minute drive for me. They are Good People. Give them Cash and you get Breaks.

Ive been through about 500 of the 2000 of these that I bought in a Garand, and I have had no problems. Great slugs.
