I would try somewhere between 24.5 and 25.5 of Varget, and load to mag length.  That has worked well for me out of both my 20" SDMR and my Savage 10FP.

Hogdgon has a good online load database as well.

My above post is consistent with what they've listed, and also has a few loads for H335 and a few other powders.

Cartridge Overal Length (COL). 2.250" is a good place to start. Sierra Match Kings vary in length, mostly because some of the hollowpoints have small burrs on them. Pick a bullet that has a burr and set your die up so the finished round is 2.250". You can go as long as 2.260" using this method. If you grab a bullet with a pefect tip when setting up your dies the burred bullets will jam by rubbing inside the magazine.

I use Remington 7 1/2 primers, Lake City or Winchester brass and 24.5 grains of Varget with 69 grain SMK's.

Hodgdon's also has IMR-8208 XBR data for the 69 gr Sierra MK.

Work up, my groups got better the closer I came to the max listed charge. Talking 10 shot .750 100 yd groups.

I use Win brass and Rem 7 1/2 primers, OAL 2.250, no crimp.

Since IMR-8208 XBR measures almost as well as ball powder, I have given up on Varget.

I have used 25.0 of Varget with really good results.  But, I have now moved to XBR for my 77 and 75gr loads.  I am using 23.2 with those.
