OK, so I have been looking at this as of lately (I know drinking the cool-aid), but all the pics I find of it include parts that are available options, & not included with the base machine. I want to see exactly what I would be getting with my money not what it could be built up to be. Does anybody have a picture or know a place that shows exactly what is included in the package when you buy one?

Maybe you can, but I can't, I'm still learning of this reloading thing & do not know what things look like by description.

You will get a press, 1 tool head w/powder measure die,, and caliber kit of choice.  You supply die set of choice, be it DILLON, RCBS, LEE, Lyman.

Looking at pictures, toss all the mounts/trays/tools/roller handle out the door

This is what it looks like bolted straight to a bench with the spare cartridge bin holder that comes in the box.

Pay no attention to the spare primer tubes, spare toolhead and conversion kits. 1 kit, and 1 small primer tube, 1 large primer tube, and one toolhead come with the press.

Wish I had a better pic, but the press is packed in a box in Illinois at my parent's right now waiting for me to move to Iowa this weekend.

Hope this helps!

+1 for Brian Enos... I have been ordering my stuff through him. I loaded with it base stock from the factory, but then got the bullet tray and empty case tray along with strong mount and wouldnt go back. YMMV

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the benefit of ordering from there, the free shipping on orders over $400 or is there more

Brian is a good guy to deal with and will help you decide what you need as well the Dillon folks will do the same, Brian has to charge the same to remain a Distributor but he will save you on shipping

Good customer service too. With Dillon, unfortunately, you end up paying MSRP unless you're a dealer.

Brian Enos at least saves you some money on shipping.

Like what was said above, Brian wont sell you anything you dont need, and if you explain your situation to him he will discuss whether or not the 550 is right for you. You cant go wrong.

The low primer alarm is standard now?  I thought that thing was a $40 option.

He also has a fantastic forum over there, and I like to show my support by ordering through him when I can...

While you might start with a basic 550B, odds are you won't stay with one very long.  Each caliber is so much easier if you have the dies set up on their own toolhead.  This is what my old 550B looked like before I sold it for my 650 setup.

I'd get my C&R FFL and get it from Graf's.  If you send a Money Order or Cashier's Check it's hard to beat their price.  I pretty much buy all of my Dillon stuff from them if they carry it.
