Could someone with a Lock-N-Load explain to me how you adjust primer seating depth?

Progressive or single stage?

You don't adjust it on either press.

Nearly every press, and the hand primers, uses 'feel' to seat the primer.  Exception to this are the Lee, RCBS, etc press-top priming dies, where you prime at the top of the ram stroke. The primer depth is set by where the die is set.

On the LNLAP, you seat the primer when you push forward on the handle, lowering the ram.

Progressive.

And if the primers aren't being seated deep enough in the primer pocket...?

Make sure your shell plate isn't super loose. Consider using silicon to glue a dime under the spot where the primer seater hits the frame of the press.

How much pressure are you applying on the press handle at the bottom of the stroke?  To get primers fully seated, you need to push firmly.  You'll feel a slip when the primer seats, and with a little bit more pressure you'll feel it "stop."  That's when the primer is really fully seated.  If you can't push the primer deeply enough into the pocket using this method, there is a problem.  Make sure your primer pockets are clean enough, and that you're not trying to use Large Rifle primers in pistol cases that need Large Pistol primers-the primer cups are different heights...

There is more than enough range of movement in the ram to "over" seat, so you need to be careful with that forward pressure.  I'd advise priming about 20-30 cases without having everything else set up, so you can concentrate on the feel.  Once you get that feel down, you'll actually be very consistent in seating your primers.

Are you sure that there is no primer crimp on your cases?

What headstamp?

Red,blue, rifle, pistol, 9mm, 45acp, rifle build, pistol builds, engine over haul, customers chewing my ass, vendors won't move quick enough to stay out of my way.

Whirlwind, just the way I like things. Problem is I forget to write things down before picking up something else.

I had this issue with my AP press but don't remember the fix. I remembered the dime fix and started to do it. Then thought better and took everything apart for the 13th time. Problem was me, not press. Had something not seated to depth. If I remember will post. It was something stupid, simple.
