I have some AA2230 powder and a ton of 110 gr Sierra Pro Hunters.  I have seen that loads exist for the 2230 / 110 gr Hornandy BTHP combo.   But nothing for the first combo.  Does such a load exist?  I have a speer manual, a hornandy manual, and flipped through the lyman.  I went online and searched online powder databases.  I wouldn't be against picking up some Reloaders10 or H335.  Just really wish my next powder purchase didn't fall this weekend

any thoughts or suggestions?

68forums.com has a great reloading forum, and that is where I would go in search of the data you are looking for...

I haven't used the Pro Hunters, but have loaded rounds using the Hornady 110 BTHP and H322.... I would think the load data would be similar if not the same for both bullets, and would start low and work up using the available data...

Definitely go to 68forums. Also, 2230 isn't bad, but it isn't a great powder for the 6.8. H 322 is better, and AA2200 is the hot ticket now and producing incredible velocity  gains over the H322 and other powders for the 95 and up bullets, especially the 110s and 120s, while maintaining very good accuracy. I just switched over myself from H322 and loaded up some 110gr Accubonds. I haven't chronographed them yet, but I expect a gain of 50-85fps over the H322.

would AA2200 powder also be a good choice for the Barnes 85 grain TTSX bullets?

Go with Re 7. That's the velocity king for anything under 95gr, and it is very good accuracy wise as well. I use it for 90 TNT and run 2925fps from a 16" ARP upper and get under .5 moa consistently. No pressure signs.

Cool, thanks for the info.  What about the powder properties that makes a powder better for 6.8 than say 5.56?

Although not for the 85 gr TTSX (not sure if you ment the TSX), check out this link.  http://68forums.com/forums/showthread.php?24804-85gr-MPG-range-trip

Look for EWP's post on the 85 gr barnes MPG bullet and AA2200 powder.  Seemed to work well with that bullet.
