| I have used mostly cci primers but i found magtech primers on sale. Does anyone use these and have they had good luck with them? I am ordering them for 99.00 for 5000. Let me know what you think of them |

I found just the opposite. I found an accuracy improvement with Magtech primers over CCI in the 30 Carbine. I'm not sure why. I can't find them anymore locally. |

| i've shoot a lot of magtech small pistol in my 9mm since the price for federal 100 was skyroketet here in switzerland. about 15'000. not a single failure. they are good, but not as consistant as federal . federal give me a liitle fps more and a more consistent velocity. but for ipsc use is absolute no problem with magtech. |

Graf's has Magtech on sale right now. I could drop a pure gold brick into the hands of ten people and at least one person would have a problem and say it didn't work.
Experiences vary with anything. However up until this time I have never heard a complaint regarding Magtech primers. I was using Winchester, CCI and Magtech in a lot of pistiol cartridges until lightening two competition pistols. Now running Federal primers to avoid problems due to lightened firing pin springs. They've been great 5.56 primers getting 75 grain Hornady hpbt out 750 meters. Also using in .308 Winchester sub moa cartridges. There's lots of good primers made and Magtech rides near the top. No issues here. I'm getting better accuracy from Magtech than I was using Winchester LR. |

Same results with a Universal, a VG condition 1945 G.I. issue carbine and an Auto-mag III. About a dozen reenactor friends with carbines also had huge problems with this as well in their rifles. Don't know make and conditions of their rifles. |

I've had no problem using their small rifle in 5.56, small pistol in 9mm, 40sw and 38psl, and large rifle in .308, 7.65x53 and 7mm mauser.
I have experienced no noticeable velocity or accuracy difference between CCI small rifle and small pistol and Magtech small rifle and small pistol. I have not used any CCI large rifle so I cannot comment on any difference there. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum! |

That's a good price. Sadly, I was buying CCI 41s locally for the same price a little over a year ago.  The worst thing about getting old, is that you can remember when gas was $.30 per gal., primers were $8 per K, and 55 gr FMJs were $22 per K.  Well, I'm not quite that old ..... yet!
