Looking to purchase a new Hornady powder measure and I'm not sure which one I need. LNL Powder Measure ($61.99) or LNL Powder Measure Bench Rest ($109.99) It will mostly be for 223 high power and some 30-06. I'll be loading single stage. I believe both would come with a free hundred rounds from Hornady. Thanks |

I have two of the regular LnL powder measures and they are wonderful, the closest thing to them is my Redding BR3 match powder measure and it's not any better but just as good, I have the rotors in mine coated with dry moly(baked on), they are smooth as silk and no more rusting.
I imagine the Hornady BR measure would be a step up with the coated rotor and it probably has even tighter tolerances but the plain LnL measure has a way better rotor fit than most PM's. I say get the BR measure but you will be happy with either. |
